Honda Racing Australia enters the 2026 Australian Motocross Championship with one clear objective, defend every title.

As back-to-back champions across all four classes, the Factory Honda team returns with momentum, confidence, and a strengthened program, including the defence of the Oceania Championship led by Australian Team Captain, Charli Cannon.

For 2026, Honda Racing Australia introduces a dynamic new commercial model, with title partners aligned to each of the eight championship rounds, maximising exposure, activation and engagement for its premium partners.
Team Director Yarrive Konsky has successfully implemented this model across both two- and four-wheel motorsport.

“This model has delivered success globally, particularly in NASCAR, and I’ve applied it across multiple programs here in Australia,” said Konsky.

“Our partners operate on campaign cycles , state and national and this approach allows them to activate when it matters most. At the same time, it enables us to deliver greater value while competing at the highest level.”

Round One is proudly presented by National Finance and Loans, a leading Australian finance broker with strong ties to the sport.

MX1: Champions Lead the Charge

Defending MX1 Champion Kyle Webster enters the season with confidence following a strong pre-season.
“We’ve made significant gains with the bike, new motor package, new suspension and had a solid pre-season of racing. Everything has been positive and I’m looking forward to getting started,” said Webster.
Joining him is multiple-time Australian Champion Wilson Todd, determined to return to the top after two injury-interrupted seasons.
“The last couple of years have been tough with injuries in Supercross impacting my preparation, but I’m in a better place now. Round one is always challenging, especially at Wonthaggi, but I’m confident we can start the season strong,” said Todd.

MX2: Depth, Talent and Determination

The MX2 class sees a formidable line-up, with Alex Larwood and brothers Ryder and Kayd Kingsford all targeting championship success.

Ryder Kingsford continues his recovery from a pre-season shoulder injury but remains focused on the bigger picture.

“The injury hasn’t helped, but we’re in a good position. The speed is there, I just need to be smart and focus on the long game,” said Ryder.

Reigning MX3 Champion Kayd Kingsford steps up to MX2, motivated and aware of the challenge ahead.

“There are riders my age winning in America, that’s the standard. I need to learn quickly, get up front and stay there,” said Kayd.

MX3: Building the Future

New addition Heath Fisher joins the team in MX3, with a focus on development and long-term progression.

“It’s my first year with the team and I’m coming off a couple of tough seasons with injuries. The focus is on process, patience and building towards my potential,” said Fisher.

MXW: Cannon Leading the Charge

Reigning MXW Champion and AMA runner-up Charli Cannon returns, representing SCT Logistics and Berry Sweet for Round One.

A four-time champion, Cannon remains firmly focused on extending her dominance.

“Stronger competition will only improve the championship and the growth of women in motocross and

I welcome that. But my goal doesn’t change. I’m here to win my fifth straight title and a third consecutive Oceania Championship,” said Cannon.

Founder Les Crowe, a former racer, continues to strengthen his partnership with Honda Racing Australia.
