Quad Lock Leads Honda Racing Australia into Battle at Round 7 of ProMX

Honda Racing Australia will proudly carry the Quad Lock name into Round 7 of the Australian ProMX Championship this weekend at the iconic Connondale Motorcycle Park, celebrating a partnership built on innovation, performance and a shared passion for motorcycles.

While Quad Lock has become a globally recognised brand for creating industry-leading mounting solutions for motorcycles, bicycles, cars and everyday adventures, its commitment extends well beyond product innovation. As the ProMX Championship enters its final stages, Honda Racing Australia remains firmly in championship contention.

The team currently leads the MX2 Championship while sitting second in MX1, MX3 and the Women’s Championship.

Although the standings demonstrate another successful season, Konsky believes the team is capable of even more.

“Over the past two years we led every championship. This season has been more challenging. We’ve won rounds in MX1, MX2 and MX3, but nothing has come easily. The competition has lifted, we’ve made mistakes as riders and as a team, and we’re honest enough to acknowledge that.”

“The encouraging part is we know our motorcycles are competitive enough to win. The speed is there. We’ve been in position to win many more races than the results suggest. Now it’s about refining the finer details, learning from those moments and finishing the championship strongly.”

Reigning MX1 Champion Kyle Webster has endured one of the toughest seasons of his career, battling injuries while remaining in championship contention.

“I’ve made it hard on myself this year,” Webster admitted.

“I crashed in Round 1, Round 2 wasn’t much better and even after winning at Gilman it’s been an up-and-down season. The crash in America dislocated my shoulder and tore my groin, so these final rounds are about digging deep, supporting the team and our partners, then focusing on getting healthy and preparing for what’s next.”

Charli Cannon has also shown remarkable resilience after suffering significant injuries in the last round.

“It’s been a tough championship,” Cannon said.

“The crash at Traralgon changed everything. I fractured my scapula and my shoulder and back have been giving me trouble ever since. Right now it’s about being smart, healing properly and making sure I’m as strong as I can be for these final rounds before heading back to America.”

Round 7 of the Penrite ProMX Championship takes place this Sunday at the legendary Connondale Motorcycle Park in Queensland.
